Melanie Froh Carver is an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she advises venture-backed companies and their boards in venture financings and other capital raises, corporate and securities law, and strategic partnerships. Melanie also represents companies of all sizes in buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to attending law school, Melanie held legal operations, paralegal and compliance roles with WP Engine, Spredfast (now Khoros), RetailMeNot, Whole Foods, and DLA Piper. Through these roles, Melanie gained broad-based experience in general corporate matters, financings, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, data privacy, and technology transactions.
During law school, Melanie worked with the in-house legal department of WP Engine in their majority investment by Silver Lake Partners and as a core deal team member in their acquisition of StudioPress. Melanie was also a summer associate and law clerk for Wilson Sonsini.
