Zack Lenox is an associate in the corporate and securities practice in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati’s San Francisco office. He focuses on corporate governance, public company representation, capital markets, and venture capital financings. His practice covers a wide range of activities related to securities law compliance, disclosure, and corporate governance matters.
Zack helps lead the firm's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practice through Wilson Sonsini’s Sustainability Working Group Steering Committee.
He has advised clients ranging from cutting edge start-ups all the way to leading global enterprises across a wide range of technology-focused industries, including energy storage, aviation and advanced air mobility, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, optical networks, and biotechnology.
Additionally, Zack provides counsel for numerous pro bono clients, taking on cases for asylum, U-Visas, youth empowerment, racial justice, and gun control. He has received multiple awards for his commitment to providing pro bono services, including the firm’s John Wilson award, which is given to attorneys who demonstrate a sustained commitment to the firm's pro bono clients and handle significant responsibility on pro bono matters.
Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, Zack was in-house counsel at Energy Recovery, Inc.
In law school, he was a research assistant at the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation.
Zack is passionate about aviation. He holds a commercial pilot license and has worked in several roles in the aviation industry.
