Trevor Templeton is a litigation partner-elect in the Los Angeles office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on complex civil litigation. He has experience litigating cases at all stages, including taking and defending depositions, writing dispositive motions, managing all aspects of discovery, examining witnesses at trial, and representing clients on appeal.
Prior to joining the firm, Trevor was a litigation associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP in Los Angeles, where he joined in 2016.
Trevor has served as a volunteer deputy for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, first-chairing three jury trials to verdict for criminal offenses including driving under the influence.
He also maintains an active pro bono practice, with an emphasis on securing the constitutional rights of incarcerated individuals. In 2020, he received an ACLU Humanitarian Award for his work on civil rights litigation involving COVID-19 in county jails.
Following law school, Trevor served as a law clerk for the Honorable Sarah S. Vance of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
