In his litigation practice, Stephen frequently represents companies, as well as their officers and directors, in various types of litigation and litigation-related matters, including securities class actions, shareholder derivative suits, merger cases, and books and records demands.
In his investigations practice, Stephen regularly assists clients in navigating sensitive and complex matters, both internally and before the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, and other regulatory bodies, on a wide range of issues, including insider trading, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), financial reporting and accounting fraud allegations, and disclosure matters. He also regularly counsels clients with respect to related legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.
