Shane Reil is Of Counsel in the Delaware office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he is a member of the firm’s restructuring practice. Shane has experience representing corporate debtors, secured lenders, creditors, wind-down trustees, and plan administrators in complex chapter 11 cases, cross-border insolvency proceedings, asset sales and acquisitions, and wind-downs. He has counseled clients in connection with proceedings before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Prior to joining the firm, Shane practiced in the corporate restructuring group at Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP, where he counseled clients in complex chapter 11 cases across various industry sectors, including retail, grocery, sports and entertainment, pharmaceutical, and emerging technologies. Before that, he was law clerk to the Honorable Mary F. Walrath in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
