Seamus regularly advises clients on corporate practice of medicine laws, state and federal fraud and abuse laws such as the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, and the False Claims Act, HIPAA and privacy laws, Medicare and Medicaid rules, investigations, and state licensing requirements. He is a go-to advisor on transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and financings, and on contractual arrangements such as professional service agreements and employment agreements.
Seamus also counsels clients on corporate and governance issues such as entity formation, preparing policies and procedures, and compliance programs.
Prior to attending law school, Seamus obtained his MPH at the University of Iowa College of Public Health where he specialized in health policy and healthcare management.
