Richard Wang is a China partner in the Beijing office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he is a member of the patents and innovations practice. His practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, opinion work, freedom-to-operate and due-diligence studies, litigation strategy, and technology licensing.

Prior to joining the firm, Richard was a partner at NTD Patent and Trademark Agency Ltd., where his practice focused on consulting clients in the chemical, biological, and pharmaceutical industries, and representing clients before the Chinese Patent Office, Patent Re-examination Board, and courts.

Richard was also previously an intern for Pfizer, Inc., in California, where he helped prosecute U.S. patent applications, supported R&D, and provided opinions to business units.
