Rachita Chatter is venture counsel in the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she practices corporate and securities law. She focuses on start-ups, venture capital transactions, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachita was an associate at White Summers Caffee & James in Silicon Valley, where she represented emerging companies and investors across the corporate life cycle focused on corporate formations, financings, and general corporate matters. Before pursuing her masters, she practiced as a corporate attorney in Mumbai, India, for three years, focusing on private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, insolvency and bankruptcy, and commercial law practice.
