Moncarol Wang is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where her practice focuses on real estate.
During law school at the University of Chicago, she served as staff for the student-edited topical legal journal The University of Chicago Legal Forum for two years. Her student comment explaining how tort law can be used to address deepfakes was published in its Volume 2022 – The Body. She also served with the Corporate Lab Clinic, where she assisted clients with regulatory and copyright matters. She also completed a summer internship during this time with Calpine Corporation’s legal department.
Before law school, Moncarol completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and worked in tax compliance and consulting at Deloitte Tax’s San Jose office. She also worked as an assistant at San Francisco boutique law firm Buffington & Aaron. During this period, she passed her California Certified Public Accountant exam. Her license is currently active.
