Lucas E. Wherry is a corporate associate in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he is a member of the shareholder engagement and activism practice, focusing on shareholder activism and proxy contests. Lucas has experience representing public and private companies and has assisted clients in mergers and acquisitions, stock purchases, tender and exchange offers, and other strategic corporate transactions. In addition, he has experience in general corporate governance matters.

Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate in the mergers & acquisitions practice of Shearman & Sterling LLP. While in law school, Lucas was a judicial extern for the Honorable Ona T. Wang in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
