Leila Purqurian is an associate in the San Diego office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she practices corporate and securities law. She advises and represents public and private companies and investors in a variety of general corporate and complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, start-up counseling, venture capital financings, private and public securities offerings, public company disclosures, and corporate governance.
Leila is also active in pro bono, primarily taking on cases involving small businesses and entrepreneurship, refugee and asylum status, privacy and data protection, and food law and regulation.
During law school, Leila worked at Ernst & Young, Illumina, the Federal Trade Commission, and Sanford Burnham Prebys. She was also a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for Southern California for the Honorable Judge Andrew G. Schopler. She received CALI awards for earning the highest grade in the class in Privacy Law and Bankruptcy Law.
She speaks French and Persian, with basic knowledge of Arabic and German.
