Kelly Cook is a law clerk in the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the firm’s energy and climate solutions practice. She assists clients in the renewable energy and climate technology sectors with major corporate, infrastructure, and financial transactions. She also guides clients on regulatory compliance with state and federal energy laws.
Prior to law school, Kelly worked as a policy and strategic planning consultant on California environmental issues. She oversaw a wide range of client initiatives, including the successful passage of a countywide property tax for stormwater infrastructure in Los Angeles County.
During law school, Kelly worked as a law clerk at the California Public Utilities Commission and the California Attorney General’s Office, and led the student pro bono group, Clean Energy Leaders in Law. She holds certificates of specialization from Berkeley Law in both Energy and Clean Technology Law and Environmental Law.
Kelly is not yet admitted in any jurisdiction and therefore not yet authorized to practice law.
