Katherine Ashbolt is an associate in the San Francisco office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the firm’s energy and climate solutions practice. She advises clients on major transactional work and projects relating to energy and infrastructure. She has experience with a range of climate technologies, including solar, wind, energy storage, energy efficiency, grid services, electric vehicle charging, carbon capture and storage, decarbonization processes, water efficiency, and recycling.
Prior to joining the firm, Katherine was an associate in the global energy and infrastructure finance group at Milbank LLP in Los Angeles, where she represented developers, lenders, and tax equity investors in project finance transaction in the renewable energy space. Before that, she was a senior associate in the projects and real estate group at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney, Australia. During her time in Australia, Katherine acted for government departments and developers on major infrastructure transactions, including large-scale urban renewal, airport, and rail projects.
