Julius Giesen is an associate in the Brussels office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice encompasses all aspects of European and German antitrust law. He has a strong focus on helping companies with multi-jurisdictional mergers and cartel investigations and advises on current and proposed EU Regulations including the Digital Markets Act and ESG compliance efforts.
Prior to joining Wilson Sonsini, he worked on matters including global merger reviews, automotive and chemicals cartels, as well as cartel damages litigation as a law clerk for British law firms. He gained further experience clerking for the Hamburg Court of Appeals, the German Ministry of the Economy’s State Aid Unit, and Bucerius Law School, and has held lectures on European Law.
Julius is fluent in German and English, and proficient in Spanish.
