Dr. Jennifer Floyd is a patent agent in the San Diego office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the firm's patents and innovations practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer worked for three years as a technology and patent specialist in the technology development group at La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology. Jennifer became a registered patent agent in 2014.
While in graduate school, Jennifer used positional cloning to determine the identity of a suppressor gene involved in RNA splicing and transport using in vivo and cell-based assays. As a postdoctoral fellow, she worked on the identification of novel regulators of Toll-like receptor signaling.
