Jason Sacks is Of Counsel in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and an attorney in the firm’s tax practice. He advises and represents public and private companies of all sizes on U.S. federal income tax matters for various types of transactions, including entity formations, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, IPOs, de-SPACs and other capital markets transactions, financings, internal restructurings, financial instruments and derivative transactions, digital asset and cryptocurrency transactions, and investments in funds.

Jason advises clients on many facets of U.S. federal income tax rules, including general corporate and partnership taxation, U.S. international tax, taxable and tax deferred transactions, and general tax planning.

On October 21, 2024, financial infrastructure platform Stripe confirmed that it is acquiring stablecoin infrastructure provider Bridge. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Stripe on the transaction.
