Gloria Liang is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she focuses on corporate and securities transactions and supports the ongoing corporate needs of clients in the technology sector. Gloria’s clients include a variety of emerging growth companies, mid-to-late-stage private companies, and both smaller and enterprise public companies. She works with companies across all aspects of their life cycle, including formation, private financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, SEC compliance, and related matters.
Gloria also has a passion for and is devoted to working in the pro bono space, representing clients in their petitions for domestic violence restraining orders, guardianships, and U-visa, as well as various corporate needs of non-profit clients in the arts/entertainment and education field.
Prior to her legal career, Gloria worked in in vitro molecular and cell biology research. She investigated interactions between human actin cytoskeleton proteins, optimization of DNA conjugation-based immunotherapy, and modification of proteins in therapeutic drug development.
During law school, Gloria interned at Oracle and externed with the Honorable Justice Nathan D. Mihara of the Sixth Appellate District California Court of Appeal. She also served in the Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic at Santa Clara Law, where she assisted clients in the local start-up community with nonprofit corporate governance matters, commercial ground leases, intellectual property rights agreements, and licensing.
