From 2019 to 2022, he advised 47 different companies raising venture capital rounds between $30 million and $1 billion in size. In the last four years he also advised more than 70 different companies raising venture capital rounds between $1 million and $30 million.
He has negotiated over 500 equity investments on behalf of companies. These include venture capital deals led by Accel, Andreessen Horowitz, Benchmark, DCM, DFJ, DST, Founders Fund, Greylock, Innovation Endeavors, IVP, Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed, NEA, QED, Ribbit, Sequoia, Social Capital, and Y Combinator. He has also negotiated strategic investments led by Amazon and Google, growth investments led by SoftBank (Vision Fund) and Tiger Global, and crossover investments led by Fidelity and T. Rowe Price.
As an associate, Damien advised issuers and underwriters in connection with initial public offerings. He also represented numerous buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions. As a partner, Damien focuses primarily on private company fundraising.
