Dr. Christina Hoong is a law clerk in the Century City office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the firm's patents and innovations group. She focuses on patent prosecution and intellectual property. Christina assists on strategic patent counseling in life sciences and biotechnology, organic and medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina performed her doctoral research on synthesis and design of organometallic compounds and studied the therapeutic effects in cancer. In addition, she has studied using silica nanoparticles for targeted delivery to cancer. Christina’s undergraduate research focused on utilizing transition metals, such as gold, for asymmetric catalysis of small molecules.
Christina is admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is not yet admitted to any jurisdiction and therefore not yet authorized to practice law.
