Catherine Lyons is an associate in the Delaware office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she is a member of the restructuring practice. Catherine has experience representing corporate debtors, creditors, lenders, independent fiduciaries, and special committees in complex chapter 11 cases, out-of-court restructurings, financial workouts, dissolutions, wind-downs, and cross-border insolvency proceedings. She has counseled clients in proceedings pending before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Prior to joining the firm, Catherine practiced in the corporate restructuring group at Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP, where she counseled and advised financially-distressed clients across a broad array of industries. She began her legal career in the finance group at Shearman & Sterling LLP, where she represented administrative agents, collateral agents, issuers, lenders, and borrowers in syndicated leveraged financings, securitizations, debt and equity security offerings, and structured finance transactions.
