Ava Mehta is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini, where she focuses on complex litigation and investigations.
During law school, Ava externed for the Honorable Charles R. Breyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. At Penn Law, Ava was selected to the Moot Court Board, and was a member of the law school’s Appellate Advocacy Clinic. She served as an articles editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law, and on the boards of the South Asian Law Students Association and the West Coast Law Students Association.
Before attending law school, Ava was a research associate at the Brennan Center for Justice, where she specialized in policy and litigation work related to election law. She also worked at the law firm AZB in Mumbai, India. While pursuing her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, she worked for the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice.
