On October 24, 2022, The Coterie, a developer of lending and investment platform for founders, raised $40 million in Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Stanley Tang, Naval Ravikant, Initialized, Pear VC, and Gradient Ventures.

A Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati team including Yokum Taku, Avi Emanuel, and Jon Hatcher represented The Coterie in the transaction.
