On October 12, 2021, Plume, the creator of the world’s first SaaS experience platform for communications service providers (CSPs) and their subscribers, announced that it has raised $300 million in a Series F financing round led by Softbank Vision Fund 2, bringing the company’s valuation to $2.6 billion. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Plume on the transaction.
According to Plume, the latest investment will continue to drive research and development, sales and marketing, new partnerships, and acquisitions as the company continues its global expansion and hyper-growth. Over the last two quarters, Plume has added more than 13 million new households; welcomed over 70 new CSP customers and partners; and added more than 350 million new managed devices to its global cloud platform, with over 1.2 billion unique client devices now managed by Plume-powered networks. The Series F investment follows the company’s $270 million Series E funding in February 2021, with $697 million raised to date.
The Wilson Sonsini team representing Plume in the Series F financing included corporate partners Rezwan Pavri and Lang Liu, corporate associates Lester Ang and Courtney Matteson.
