On September 10, 2024, Neurode announced that it has raised $3.5 million in pre-Seed funding and is launching its private beta which users can join now at neurodelabs.com.
The Sydney, Australia-based company is pioneering a wearable headband to track and treat ADHD symptoms using light electrical stimulation in the prefrontal cortex. The headband is currently available through a private beta and Neurode plans to seek FDA approval for the device in the future. The pre-Seed funding round was led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from PsyMed Ventures. Neurode, which filed patents for its device in 2021, has used the funding to support clinical trials.
