On June 2, 2020, Maven, a leading women's and family digital health company, announced it had acquired Bright Parenting, an app that helps parents of children ages 2-10 learn and use proven behavioral health techniques and skills that contribute to strong parent-child relationships. This is Maven’s first acquisition. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Maven in the transaction.
Since 2018, Bright has helped more than 50,000 parents develop strong relationships with their children with their interactive content designed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy practitioners and other behavioral health experts. The acquisition allows Maven to fill a gap in the market and provide much needed support for parents raising children over the age of two. By embedding Bright Parenting’s content directly into Maven’s upcoming pediatrics and parenting program, Maven will be able to provide holistic support for parents well past the first year postpartum.
