On February 21, 2024, Inco announced it has raised $4.5 million in a seed funding round, led by 1kx along with participation from Circle Ventures, GSR, Polygon Ventures, Robot Ventures, Alliance DAO, and Matter Labs. Inco is building a modular confidential computing Layer-1 blockchain to serve as the confidentiality layer for decentralized applications. Inco leverages fully homomorphic encryption, secured by Ethereum, to give decentralized applications access to programmable confidentiality and keep on-chain data confidential yet auditable.
