On June 21, 2023, BizCapital, a provider of fast and secure online working capital loans to approximately one million Brazilian small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and Open Co, an alternative online lending, online credit, and personal financial management platform – two of the most innovative fintech leaders in Brazil – announced a merger of the two companies. The merger is already closed at the time of announcement, and the general availability of the BizCapital products and services to SMEs will integrate Open Co’s structure to further expand the group’s leadership position in the industry.
