On March 26, 2024, Asari AI announced that it has launched and raised an initial funding round led by Eric Schmidt, with participation from Caltech, Jeff Dean, and JP Millon. Asari AI’s mission is to build a new type of AI agent that learns, reasons, plans, and verifies at scale to enable people to collaborate and coinvent with AI. Asari AI's team includes founder and CEO Stephan Zheng, founding advisor and Caltech professor Yisong Yue, and advisor and UT Austin professor Swarat Chaudhuri.

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati represented Asari AI in the company's initial funding round. The Wilson Sonsini team includes Jonathan Chan and Matthew Quadrini.
