In June 2023, Miami-based Amedex Assurance Co. (DBA Olé Life), a full-stack insurance carrier bringing a digital-first approach to regions with low access to insurance, raised $12 million in Series A funding. The round was co-led by Mundi Ventures and AV8 Ventures, who were joined by Morro VC and other strategic investors. In total, the company has raised $17 million, including $7 million in previous rounds.

Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Amedex on the transaction. The Wilson Sonsini team includes Matt Squires, Cesar Fischer, and Luis R Fortuño.
