On February 13, 2019, Ushr and Dynamic Map Platform, providers of accurate, high-quality, and high-definition road maps in North America and Japan, respectively, announced the signing of a definitive agreement under which Dynamic Map Platform has agreed to acquire Ushr. Upon closing, their deal will establish a single, enhanced platform for accelerated development and delivery of high-definition mapping solutions, which will progress autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is representing Ushr in the transaction.
Ushr's investors include GM Ventures, EnerTech Capital, Emerald Technology Ventures, and Forte Ventures. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of regulatory approval. Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
