On October 31, 2022, Latinvex, a provider of daily news and weekly analysis on Latin America business, released its 2022 list of Latin America’s Top 100 Female Lawyers. Of Counsel Vanessa Heck was named to the list, which selects the top 100 female lawyers specializing in Latin America among international law firms.

Now in its tenth year, the annual report looked at nearly 100 law firms and in the end chose 100 attorneys from 61 different firms based in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Bermuda. Winners were selected based on a combination of factors, including recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of firm in Latin America, and rankings. The research was based on data provided to Latinvex by the firms, publicly-available data from the firms as well as recognition from third parties such as Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 and M&A data from Refinitiv.
