On December 5, 2017, GoDaddy, the world's largest cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures, announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 7,277,622 shares of its Class A common stock at a price to the public of $47.32 per share. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati represented GoDaddy in the offering.
According to a company press release, selling stockholders are offering 7,227,622 shares of Class A common stock, while GoDaddy is offering an additional 50,000 shares of its Class A common stock and intends to use the proceeds of the offering to pay the transaction expenses incurred in connection with the offering and any remaining proceeds for general corporate purposes. Morgan Stanley & Co. is acting as the bookrunner for the offering.
