On June 22, 2021, Splunk Inc., provider of the Data-to-Everything Platform, announced that Silver Lake would make a $1 billion investment in convertible senior notes. Splunk plans to use the proceeds from the new investment to fund growth initiatives and manage its capital structure. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati represented Splunk in the transaction.
