On December 7, 2022, real estate infrastructure company Setpoint announced that it closed a $43 million Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). The financing included support from Henry Kravis (KKR), Spencer Rascoff (co-founder Zillow & 75andSunny), Fifth Wall, 645 Ventures, NextView Ventures, LiveOak Venture Partners, Vesta Ventures, ATX Venture Partners and Capital Factory. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised Andreessen Horowitz on the deal.
The new financing will allow Setpoint to invest in software engineering and develop tools for customers of asset-backed transactions. Setpoint is focused on building infrastructure for modern real estate transactions. The company plans eventually to expand outside of real estate and into all asset-backed lending.
