In 2022, transferable tax credits seemed like they would be a game changer for renewable energy finance.The promise was that much simpler direct transfers could open the doors of tax credit monetization to new players who had been largely unfamiliar with the renewable energy space.
Today, some remain skeptical that the legislation will ultimately make a significant difference, due to the costs and risks involved. Our panel will discuss how both believers and skeptics have been proven right, and what needs to change for the transferable tax credit market to achieve its full potential.
