Wilson Sonsini is pleased to again support the Academy which brings together the most seasoned thought leaders in the areas of privacy and security law. On Wednesday, October 23 at 9 am, partner Nic Theodorakis will participate in a workshop on EU Privacy + Security Law. Also on Wednesday, October 23, partner Maneesha Mithal will join an in-depth workshop that dives into the FTC’s activities and priorities, and how things are likely to change in a Trump v. Harris Administration. The FTC has been particularly active in the area of AI, kids’ privacy, and health privacy, and is now charged with enforcing a new data broker law. And we’ll discuss prospects for the agency’s rulemaking activities. Participants will gain insight into areas that they should focus on in the coming year in order to avoid the FTC’s crosshairs.
